Big Mission!

I had a “big” mission to complete this weekend. This week is the last week of end of financial year sales. There were further deductions for all the cloths and shoes. Of course I didn’t miss this opportunity! Hehe...

Before I started my shopping journey, hubby and I went to this Japanese restaurant for lunch. You must be wondering why I always have Japanese food… I’ve fell in love with sushi! Haha… they are just so delicious!!!

This restaurant is located in Melbourne Central which was my shopping destination. This is one of just a few Japanese restaurants with the sushi train in the city.

We didn’t order much. We shared a box of bento and grabbed a few plates of sushi. Hmmm… a little bit of disappointment as they didn’t have sushi that we wanted. I grabbed one place of inari and hubby had one plate of salmon. We wanted to have more salmon sushi but it was not available so we only had 4 plates of sushi and a bento box. Not really enough for us! :P

Only 4 plates!!!

Taking a rest after few hours... (*o*)

Mission completed as I managed to get a few things that I wanted. I am happy for that! Hoho (**;)

Eating out - Cho Gao Restaurant

I found this hidden restaurant + bar at Melbourne Central. It is a western restaurant that serves modern Thai food. It has a bar section, as well as indoor and outdoor dining section. We had our meal indoor as the weather outside was very cold. (*_*)

I had ordered a lunch express which was fish burger and hubby ordered the stingray curry.

Good Food and Wine Show

Good Food!!! Yeah, everyone likes to eat good food. There were exhibitions of Good Food & Wine Show in Melbourne Exhibition Centre. Of course I wouldn’t miss this! The exhibition centre is located Southbank opposite Crown which is just a walking distance from my home.

One of the Shows’ major attractions is the Celebrity Theatre; this feature has attracted the likes of Gordon Ramsay, Jamie Oliver, Rick Stein, Ainsley Harriott, Donna Hay, Matt Moran and Curtis Stone. This year, Gordon Ramsay will be joining some of Australia’s best known chefs, including Tobie Puttock and Matt Moran. We had booked the ticket to watch the demonstrations by Matt Moran. He had prepared 3 dishes in this 1 hour demonstrations which were prawn, chicken and dessert (I forgot the name of those dishes).

There were a lot of exhibitors exhibited their products here like kitchenware, delicious food products, best fine chocolates, wines, organic food and etc.

After the show we went to “visit” the individual booth.
Lifestyle Food Channel – they provided some freebies (some recipes) so I walked towards to grab it! :P

I was excited as I had collected quite a lot of recipes from the exhibition (in the carry bag). I will try on them once I have the chance! ^_^
