Weekend indulgence n’ great bargain!

Over the weekend hubby brought me to this famous restaurant which was opened in January 2010 by Gordon Ramsay at Crown’s newest hotel, Crown Metropol.

Ambience
It’s a huge and bright modern dining room with city view

What are they offering?
3 courses set lunch

Starters:
Complimentary bread

Yellow fin tuna tartar
white radish, yuzu, enoki mushrooms, black garlic

Pan roasted snapper
carrots and ginger, spanner crab tempura

Main Course:

Crispy roast pork belly

Roasted lamb rump
wild salt bush, spring garlic, mustard seed vinaigrette

Desserts:
Coconut and white chocolate pannacotta
mango and black olive caramel

Sheep’s yoghurt mousse
frozen blackberry, walnut ice cream, honey and oats crumble

Great dessert! Love the raspberry and the crumbed to bits.

Since we were in the neighborhood, we decided to visit the streetwear warehouse sale at Brunswick Street which I saw advertised few days ago.

I don’t really a big fan of those streetwear brands like Stussy, Mooks, etc… but hubby is! We spent about 1 ½ hours in that warehouse and got ourselves a huge bargain for these… 7 pieces of clothes, 2 travel bags, 2 belts and 1 laptop case for less than $180!!! So... what do you think? =D

-----------------------------------------

2 weeks ago we visited the travel expo at the Melbourne Exhibition centre.

Europe is always the place that I wanted to visit so badly. People called Paris the “city of romance”; England, ancient and legendary cities; Milan, “world’s living art gallery” and high-end fashion; Holland, the remarkable Windmill Island and there are so many countries that full with their own attractions.

Well, the good news is hubby booked us a ticket to Europe next year in May! I am so excited about this trip and I am looking forward to. =) We’ve grabbed some brochures form the expo as you can see here

So, we will start working on our trip soon to decide how many countries to visit. Hmm… it seems like there are a lot of study to do here. Europe, I am coming to you! Till then…
