Big Breakfast 2

I had pita bread for breakfast. There are many ways to prepare pita bread. You can use it as pizza base, make it as garlic bread, chips (snack), chessy bread, sandwich and many more.

I had made it into 3 different ways…

Cheese, ham and egg sandwich
Method: Fried an egg. Cut the pita bread into half. Put in the cooked egg, ham and top with cheese. Bake for 10 minutes until the cheese has melted and the bread is crispy.
Sausage Rolls
Method: Cut the pita bread into half. Put in some tomato sauce or mayonnaise and roll up together with the sausage.
Crispy Chips dip with strawberry jam
Method: Cut the pita bread into wedges and baked for 10 minutes. You may dip with the jam that you prefer.
Among these 3 recipes, I prefer the crispy chips the most! Light snack that you can dip with whatever jam or sauce that you like. It is so good to have it while you're watching TV. = )

Variety Buns

My mind can’t stop thinking about baking bread. Since last weekend when I baked my first bun, I’ve been looking for bread / bun’s recipe everyday. Also, I like the smell coming out from the oven when i bake the bread. It really smells so so so good! = ) Ok, here are my “variety buns” with different stuffing and also I shaped them differently… hehehe

There are 2 plain buns, 1 tuna bun, 1 peanut butter bun, 1 tuna with cheese bun and the last one is nutella bun.

I tasted the plain bun after baked, it is so nice and soft! Hehehe…it is much better than the red bean bun that I baked last weekend. I am so happy…at least have some improvements. Actually I used back the same recipe but I replaced water with fresh milk. It taste really good!

Lunch Box I

I used to bring lunch box to work when I just started work. The cultural here is very different from Malaysia. In Malaysia, we will go to the canteen or eating out for lunch. Hardly see people bring lunch box to work. However, here, you can see most of the people bring their lunch box to work. I am happy to prepare the lunch box because I can "decorate" the food in the way that I like. = P

I stopped to bring my lunch box some time ago because I found that I am putting on weight so decided to diet! Hehe...My lunch now is only protein powder. Recently I also joined fitness classes and the personal training. I feel there are changes for my body. I easily get hungry after the gym / fitness classes and my personal trainer advised that I need to take some light food and not just drink the protein. So, I decided to bring lunch box to work BUT not everyday. Still need to keep in shape!!! Haha

Ok, here's my first lunch box in this 2009. Just a simple meal – tuna sushi, cucumber sushi, strawberries and miso soup paste. (Add in hot water then enjoy!) = )

Big Breakfast I

Yayyyy!!! Is weekend again…I love weekend so much. Well, the reason is I have marked down some recipes into my “to do list” but there’s always not enough time to complete it. So, weekend I can stay in the kitchen to do some baking. = ) Besides, I will also prepare “big breakfast” for myself and hubby.

So, 2 task to be completed which is “Big Breakfast” and “Baking”. Here’s my “big breakfast" ~~ Scramble eggs + cheese on toast + strawberries

Scramble eggs - Put 1 tsp butter in the frying pan and heat up. Add in 2 eggs and scramble till cook. Add some pepper on top to taste.

Cheese on toast - Toast 2 slices of bread on one side. Spread butter on top and cover with a slice of cheese. Grill until cheese melt and sprinkle some sugar.

After breakfast, me and hubby went for shopping. On the way, we saw everyone in the street were looking up to the sky. Out of curiosity, I also looked up the sky and `#@ tang tang tang tang `@# I saw this "Stay Cool". Today's weather temperature is 46 degrees...we were boiling over here. It is really hot! No joke! When the wind blow at you, you will feel like the heater is blow right exact to you. It is damn hot!

Can you see that??? Look into it..."Stay Cool"
