David Copperfield

Magic! The most popular magician in the world… We’ve been waiting for this show since 3 months ago. Yeah, we went to watch David Copperfield – An Intimate Evening of Grand Illusion at Rod Laver Arena.

Unfortunately, cameras are not allowed in this show so we didn’t capture any photo but I would like to share some amazing tricks that he presented last night. There were really amazing!

1st – The opening act. There was a big square EMPTY box on the stage. The box is closed, and then followed by some exciting music; out of a sudden “someone” on a motorcycle appeared in the box. Here he was… David Copperfield!

2nd – 2 huge bars were placed in the middle of the stage. 2 guys were selected from the audience to bend down and hug the bottom of the bars. A huge cloth then covered up the bars with the 2 audience inside. After a few seconds, the cloth was removed and a car was sitting on the 2 bars. Amazing!!!

Last but not least, “Travel to the other world” – A few audiences had been invited to the stage. There was a huge box filled with chairs on the stage. Audiences were seated in that box and then covered with a white cloth. Audiences were holding a torchlight and swing up and down so that we can know that there were inside. After a few seconds the cloth was taken away and the audience appeared on the other side of the stadium.

You gotta experience yourself then you will know how wonderful he is. It is worth to watch!!! = )
After the magic show, we went to a pub as hubby wanted to watch soccer there.

Cheers~ :P

Eating Out – Thai Restaurant

Craving for Tomyam soup! Friday evening after work, I decided to pamper myself so I skipped my fitness class. :P We stepped into this Thai restaurant – Sawasdee located in Little Burke Street.

The restaurant is mainly designed with timber and some nice lighting. There was a pianist playing piano at the corner. I reckon he played very well. = )

For Entrée, we ordered Poo Cha (I think it is the combination of crap meat and some potato as I forgot the ingredients stated in the menu) and Poh Peah (Spring Roll).
Our main courses are Tom Yam Goong (Tomyam Soup), Gaeng Keo Wahn (Beef Green Curry), Phat Sawadee (Stir Fried Spicy Fish) and Phat Si-Ew (Stir Fried Rice Noodle).

Overall, the food was yummy and the environment was nice too! The only problem was we had to wait for ages for the food to arrive. After the entrée, we waited for nearly 45 minutes for our main course… (>_<)

Re-visit Antarctica Penguins

The last time we went to Melbourne aquarium to see the Antarctica penguins were 6 months ago. We didn’t have any plan for the day so we went to check out the penguins! ^_^ In addition, we tried to utilize our one year memberships.

Our journey started with a yummy breakfast! We had our breakfast at Central Place which is located behind my apartment. There were a few cafés serving breakfast in that street and it was hard for me to choose which one to go to as their menus were almost the same! Hence, I decided to simply pick one!

I miss the hollandaise sauce so I ordered a breakfast that served with this sauce. Well, they were yummy and I am satisfied! = ) I read an article that a person who eat breakfast will feel better and perform better at work. It is not a good idea to skip breakfast as eating a good breakfast will sets the tone for the rest of the day. So, breakfast is very important!

Oh yeah! This is my favorite!

We reached the aquarium at about 10.45am and the feeding time was at 11.00 am. You can see most of the penguins were swimming in the pool. According to the staffs, the pool had been closed for few days and the penguins were so excited to have the pool back again. The penguins know it was lunch time so they walked towards the staffs who were carrying a bucket of fish.

Lunch time!!!
Come come... eat the fish!

"Hmm... we were satisfied with our lunch! Let's have a walk!" :P

"Oooh... it was so hard to climb up there... "

See, the stingray was smiling to me! (*o*)
