This kuih is my favorite. I used to but it from 2 places. First, Sunday morning at Appolo there’s a stall beside the newspaper stall. Theirs is nicer than the other stall because their Ban Chang Kuih is crispy and not like others which is soft, thick and full with flour. I used to have the Ban Chang Kuih + Egg at this stall. Another place will be at Sin Tat Garden which this uncle he only sell at night. His Ban Chang Kuih is a bit more expensive because we can add in “hou liao”. Haha…they have cheese, ham, crabmeat, corn, banana, bak hu, bak kua, egg and many more. You can choose to mix. I used to have cheese + crabmeat. Isn’t it delicious??? Hmm…I miss it so much. Coincidently, I found another blog that have the recipe for Ban Chang Kuih which is "My Kitchen Snippets" but you also can find it in The Star Online – Kuali, Malaysia Recipe .
