It’s time to get some exercise!

Yeah, Australia Open Grand Slam is being held now at Melbourne Park.

We joined the crowd to watch the match of Stanislas Wawrinka VS Gael Monfils. Initially hubby wanted to watch Roger Federer who was playing in the afternoon but I had to work so we settled for the night match. It wasn’t a bad game though...

Since we arrived earlier we wandered around the stadium. See the crowd!

Last year’s champions!

Stanislas Wawrinka from Switzerland

Gael Monfils from France

2.5 hours later…
Stanislas Wawrinka won the match with some amazing backhand shots.

The 2nd match of the night was Venus Williams VS Germany's Andrea Petkovic. Unfortunately Venus retired injured just after one game. L Too bad, wasted our tickets.

Well, talking about the tennis, hubby is a fan of Roger Federer and has been watching him since 2003 and he is absolutely devastated to see the end of his era. However, we will go and watch him at the French Open in May if he decides to play on. =)

Outdoor Cinema @ Botanical Garden

Outdoor cinema has always been the place that I wanted to go since last summer. So this outdoor cinema had been added to this summer’s to do list.

Here we were at the Ford Fiesta Moonlight Cinema. We’ve chose the movie “The Town” co-written and directed by Ben Affleck. Plus Blake Lively (Serena from Gossip Girl) also acted a small part in this movie as Ben Affleck’s ex-girlfriend.

Finding our way to the Moonlight Cinema location.

About 20 minutes later (that’s a long walk!), we finally arrived!

It was already full of people! Luckily we still managed to get a good spot though.

I had prepared some snacks to enjoy before the movie started.

My egg mayo sandwiches. =D

The screen is “coming up”...

… and movie started showing now.

It was fun and definitely a great experience for me. =) Besides the Moonlight Cinema, a few outdoor cinemas that I would like to experience next time are St Kilda OpenAir Cinema and RoofTop Cinema.

Let's Pick Your Own Cherries!

Hubby and I love berries/cherries so when they are in season, we will definitely buy them. A few farms offer the opportunities for people to pick their own so we decided to do that.

We had just visited our first berries picking at strawberry farm, the week before – Sunny Ridge at Main Ridge. It was a fun outing and we’d enjoyed the big and juicy strawberries.

So the following week, we visited a cherry farm – Cherry Hills at Orchards.

The farm is huge!

Ready to do some hard work? Let’s go…

These are cherries trees.

Spotted some very nice cherries on top of the tree. No ladder provided so the only way was “climbing up” to the tree. And of course this job will be completed by the only gentleman here. Teehee

Those cherries on my palm… they look tempting, right? They were picked straight off the tree so it’s a bit dirty on the skin. But you are allowed to eat as many of them as you want while you are picking.

Well, I didn't eat much while picking them as I am concerned about the cleanliness. We spent 2 hours in the farm and we managed to pick about 4kg of nice and juicy cherries to take home and enjoy. Happy!

On the way back to the counter to make payment for our cherries, hubby had captured some nice farm views from the top of the mountain.

Weighing our cherries…

Ended this post with a picture of me carried about 4kg cherries home and the picture of those cherries being washed! Yum yum…
