English Afternoon Tea @ Eastern & Oriental Hotel – The 1885

Bee Bee invited me to have Traditional English Afternoon Tea at E&O Hotel. I’ve read lots of food review about 1885 being famous with their afternoon tea. Hence, off we went to try out the afternoon tea at 1885.

My dearest - Bee Bee

We arrived early incase it was full house as we didn't make any reservation. Well, I guess we arrived a little bit too early as the afternoon tea has not yet started. The waiter was very friendly and polite and guided us to the waiting hall. While waiting, what is the best activity to kill time??? Haha… of course camwhoring lo!

Finally, afternoon tea started!

Firstly, we’ve been served with a mini chicken pie. Yummy! Can I have one more, please?

Mouth watering scones and sandwiches…

There were raisins scone and buttermilk scone. The platter also consists of various types of sandwiches like smoked salmon, beef and cucumber.

They also served us with assorted cakes like cookies, fruit cakes and others.

My buttermilk scone with strawberry jam and fresh cream.

Although everything was served in a tiny portion, we were unable to finish as we were too full to gobble up anymore. It was quite filling… after this, we should double up our workout session. Ha ha…

It was a lovely afternoon that we spent together and it was fun to have our girls chat! I missed the time we spent together dear, hope to see you soon end of the year as you have promised! =)
