Simple Bak Kut Teh

I had running out of idea for dinner, so decided to cook this easy and tasty soup – Bak Kut Teh. I bought this “A1 Bak Kut Teh Herbs” from Asian grocery shop. I had also prepared some simple ingredients which are fish balls, fried tofu, mushrooms, crabmeats, meats, garlic, fried tao kee and some veges. The package already has the cooking instruction. It is very simple!

Instruction
Boil 500g water in the pot.
After boiled, put in "A1 Bak Kut Teh Herbs", garlic, meats and bring to boil again.
Boil for 15 minutes and add in the remaining ingredients : fish balls, fried tofu, mushrooms, crabmeats, and fried tao kee.
Boiled for another 15 minutes and add in the vege. Serve immediately.

45 minutes later…here’s my “Bak Kut Teh”

Evelyn,

Loved looking through your blog, you appear to have taken to cooking like a "duck to water".

I was so hungry the whole time I went through your photos.

A great recipe site is http://www.recipeland.com I love their search function where you put it what you are interested in making and they shoot out dozens or hundreds of recipes.

Congratulations on your marriage, anniversary and your new adventure with your husband in Melbourne, it must be so exciting.

If you are ever on twitter.com I go by @azmike, stop by and say Hi.
